Role: Power BI Engineer

Job Description:

What will you do?

• Build Analysis Services and reporting models.
• Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
• Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence.
• Implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
• Expertise in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
• Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
• Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports per business requirements.
• Properly understand the business requirements and develop data models by taking care of the resources.
• Have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
• Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation. Also, one must be experienced in developing custom visuals for Power BI.

What do we need?

• Minimum of 4-6 years experience in Power BI report/dashboard creation, development, and administration
• Hands-on experience in Report creation data modeling
• Sound knowledge to Develop, update, and monitor ETL Data processes in preparation for dashboards
• Good understanding of SQL
• Excellent analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Experience with query tools and data visualization
• Interactive dashboards and ad hoc reporting experience
• Experience analyzing, designing, developing, and report generation with SSRS
