QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess high organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities in a fast paced, high pressure environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of general repairs, including at least one year’s experience in plumbing, electrical repair, and air conditioning; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Or any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

Valid Drivers License, required

Forklift license, required

Overhead crane, preferred

Electrical, preferred

Safety credentials, preferred

Mechanical, preferred    

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead, required.

Frequent bending, squatting, and twisting, required.

Ability to comply with safety requirements of manufacturing environment (for example: safety glasses, steel toe shoes, etc.), required.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently, required.

Ability to use hand and power tools, ability to hear sounds and work in an usually loud environment, sense of touch, sense of sight

WORK CONDITIONS:

High noise levels from operating machines.

Physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.

Fumes, dust and mist.

Skin exposure to oils and cutting fluid.

Exposure to shop environment.

 

OTHER:

Working more than 40 hours per week may be required on a frequent basis in order to complete company deliverables.
