Position does not require a security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to drug testing and other pre-employment background checks.

- Moment-tensor inversion
- Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) ambient noise analysis
- Machine learning applications in geophysics
- Field data processing and analysis

Required Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in Seismology, Geophysics, or a related field (completed within the last five years or nearing completion).
- Research experience in any of the following areas: seismic wave modeling, seismic imaging and inversion, moment-tensor inversion, ambient noise analysis, machine learning, and field data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
- Proficiency in scientific computation is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, which generally requires US Citizenship.
- Demonstrated expertise in the following areas: seismic wave modeling, seismic imaging and inversion, moment-tensor inversion, ambient noise analysis, machine learning, and field data analysis.
