The Mortgage Loan Post Closing Specialist assists with the timely and accurate review of closing documents, delivery of loan files to investors, and clearing of investor conditions to ensure the efficient sale of loans. This role will work out of our Fairfax, VA office.
Essential Functions:
- Support the management of post-closing deficiency reports and gather documentation sufficient for sale of loan
- Communicate with loan officers, processors, underwriters and closers and any other appropriate parties to quickly and accurately obtain information required to clear noted deficiencies
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation on the progress and disposition of loan files
- Acquire a high level of expertise relative to all mortgage loan documentation required to satisfy post-closing deficiencies including but not limited to disclosures, documents, appraisals, income and asset statements
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and enthusiasm to learn the mortgage process
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
