The Portfolio Management Analyst/Associate will support the Portfolio Management team in calculating portfolio performance and delivering reporting on portfolio monitoring used to develop portfolio management initiatives and drive investment strategy.

Portfolio Management Analyst/Associate, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead portfolio-level return calculations using complex excel models, and the collection, validation, and tracking of detailed quarterly portfolio metrics around valuations, operations and performance of a commercial real estate portfolio
- Assist in the preparation, review, and interpretation of portfolio data and reporting for dissemination to executive management team, board, consultants, investors, and prospective investors
- Develop new portfolio monitoring and risk management reporting tools and frameworks
- Present reports to senior management team, including the CEO, and assist in the development of overall portfolio strategies and tactics designed to enhance performance
- Work closely with the CEO, Portfolio Manager, COO, and CIO to produce investor marketing materials, market research white papers and other firm publications
- Collaborate with Data Analytics and Accounting teams to implement enhanced portfolio reporting infrastructure
- Interpret and respond to ad-hoc client requests in a timely manner
- Develop deep understanding of industry performance standards
- Assist in the creation of models used to simulate return scenarios
Portfolio Management Analyst/Associate, JOB REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS/ABILITIES):
- Strong understanding of principles of finance and accounting, such as IRR and discounted cash flow
- Superior analytical skills and work ethic
- Detail-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel skills
- Plus: Strong writing skills
- Plus: Familiarity with real estate and finance concepts
- Plus: Accounting coursework
Portfolio Management Analyst/Associate, EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
- Two plus years of work experience in Real Estate Investment Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Consulting is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in economics, Finance, Math, Accounting or related field, CFA track is a plus but not required

The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. Base pay is one component of ASB Investment Management's total compensation package, which also includes access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans and more.
