Our client is a reputable financial services company. They are currently looking to hire an experienced Portfolio Compliance Manager to join the team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$135-$160k + bonus eligibility and profit sharing
Position Overview:
The Portfolio Compliance Manager will primarily be responsible for coding, monitoring and maintaining client investment guidelines for client accounts, and work with investment professionals. The Portfolio Compliance Manager will additionally oversee compliance specialists. The Portfolio Compliance Manager will ideally have strong experience with the Charles River Compliance System (CRD). This is a great opportunity for an experienced Portfolio Compliance Manager to join a well-known company.
Responsibilities of the Portfolio Compliance Manager:
- Provide feedback on newly proposed and revised guidelines during the Client Intake process.
- Implement new and updated guidelines into the CRD system.
- Verify the accuracy of guideline coding within the CRD system.
- Supervise Compliance Specialists and offer support as needed to ensure timely and appropriate responses to CRD Alerts.
- Collaborate with investment team members to resolve guideline issues in alignment with the company’s fiduciary responsibilities to clients.
- Work closely with Portfolio Managers and Client Service Representatives to obtain guideline clarifications, amendments, and waivers from clients when required.
- Offer training and support to staff.
Qualification of the Portfolio Compliance Manager:
- 8-10+ years of investment adviser guideline compliance experience
- Must have 3-4 years of supervisory experience
- Ideally have worked in asset management or investment management
- Extensive rule coding knowledge with Charles River Compliance System (CRD) is highly preferred
- Additionally open to extensive rule coding knowledge of Sentinel, Aladdin, Bloomberg, MIG 21, Linedata, Eze Compliance
- Knowledge of fixed income securities, equities, and derivatives is required
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field is required.
- MBA is preferred.
