The Beaverton Police Department is seeking to hire a Police Inventory Specialist to manage the inventory needs of the department. This position is part of the Office of the Chief of Police and plays a key role in keeping our department equipped and mission-ready, handling everything from uniforms to essential equipment.
As Police Inventory Specialist, you’ll manage procurement, storage, and distribution of critical materials with an eye for detail, cost-efficiency, and timeliness. You’ll collaborate closely with a team of city partners to ensure that our officers and staff have everything they need to serve the community safely and effectively. This position requires a blend of organizational skills, professionalism in working with external vendors, and most importantly a strong commitment to internal customer service.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, Beaverton Police Association (BPA) classified position. The classification is Police Support Specialist 2. The schedule will be day shifts, beginning at 6am, with the option to work 4 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday), 5 8-hour days (Monday-Friday) or a 9/80 schedule (Monday-Thursday 9 hour days + alternate Fridays, 8 hours). There is one vacancy.
