Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Pole Application Data Entry Technician. A Pole Application Data Entry Technician is an entry level position for a candidate interested in beginning their career in the fiber technology industry. Pole Application Data Entry Technician (PADET) role is an assistant to the company's Pole Application Manager (PAM). The PADET would receive simplified data from the PAM. The main duty would be to transfer that data into applications, later submitted to Frontier and Verizon, for all future poles used.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Input given pole data, accurately and efficiently, into the necessary forms later used for pole applications.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
- Sort, organize, and store documents after entering data to ensure it is kept for record.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Software knowledge, word processing, data management, compiling and formatting data.
- Resilience and stress management, teamwork, growth mindset, initiative, positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
- Organizational skills, communication skills (written and verbal), elevated level of concentration, andgreat attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with the Pole Application Manager, department managers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in various stages of activity and meet critical deadlines.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent with postsecondary training.
- Typing accuracy and proficiency, familiarity with data entry software.
