Title: Point-of-Sales Analyst

Duration: 6 month contract

Compensation: $35/hr-$55/hr

Must-haves:

• 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience including the QA methodologies and SDLC
• Ability to write test cases and take requirements and know what they need to test from the requirements
• Ability to run basic SQL queries
• Demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Plusses:

• Experience with Point-of-Sale testing and lab testing/setup
• Specifically at a grocery store/restaurant would be an extra plus
• Relevant degree or certifications

Day-to-day:

• Insight Global is seeking a Point-of-Sales Analyst in the Leawood, KSarea to work fully onsite 5 days a week. The successful candidate will be actively testing in a manual testing environment. This person will be providing input for the test plans, including identifying risks, analyzing, and thinking outside of the box for problem solving. Reporting up into the QA Lead, this person will perform testing on various software, data environments, and reporting systems - specifically isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes. Also maintaining a physical lab is included in the day-to-day responsibilities for this position. This could include the ability to physically move terminals that weigh approx. 25lbs, PC imaging, setting up physical peripherals and basic networking.
