Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) seeks a Point of Care Ultrasound Administrator to join our team. The Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Administrator manages the POCUS program throughout NVRH for any non-radiology/cardiology department using clinical ultrasound. This includes, but is not limited to, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Anesthesia, Obstetrics, Surgery, Urgent Care, Specialists, and Internal Medicine. The POCUS Administrator will work closely with the POCUS Educator and facilitate the NVRH POCUS committee meetings.
What you'll do day-to-day:
- Program Management: Oversee POCUS exam storage, reporting systems, and physician credentialing process while maintaining quality assurance standards and educational initiatives
- Technical Operations: Provide daily system support, manage workflow and image archiving, coordinate with IS Department for implementations and maintenance
- Financial Oversight: Direct program budget, monitor billing compliance and revenue KPIs, manage vendor relationships and equipment procurement while ensuring alignment with national healthcare guidelines
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor's degree, strong communication skills, and a willingness to work in a team environment. Computer and technical skills are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
