PNT Systems Engineer - T2S Solutions

Summary
The PNT Systems Engineer (Position, Navigation, and Timing) will be responsible for PNT systems design, development, and testing. You will work in a team with software developers, hardware engineers, and test engineers to ensure the successful development and integration of PNT systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PNT system architecture and requirements
• Conduct system-level analysis and modeling of PNT systems
• Develop and maintain system-level requirements traceability matrices (RTMs)
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to develop PNT systems
• Conduct system-level integration testing, analysis, and validation of PNT systems
• Define and document system-level interfaces and protocols
• Ensure system-level requirements and performance specifications are met
• Develop and maintain system-level test plans and procedures
• Evaluate new technologies and industry standards related to PNT systems
• Provide technical support to other team members and customers as required
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on system architecture, design and testability
• Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to management and customers
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of experience in PNT systems engineering and development
• Active DoD security clearance required
• Experience with system-level design and analysis of PNT systems
• Experience with system-level testing, analysis, and validation of PNT systems
• PNT Systems standards & protocol knowledge including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou
• Familiarity with system modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink or similar
• Familiarity with system-level requirements management tools such as DOORS or similar
• Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project or similar
