About the Job
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and manage high-impact investment and trading-related projects across the organization. You will work as an individual contributor, balancing multiple projects simultaneously, and collaborating with internal teams to drive project success. Your focus will be on project management, portfolio management, trading operations, and the trade lifecycle. Experience with ETFs and investment management is highly desired. You will be part of a team of five other Project Managers, where you will share best practices and collaborate to elevate overall team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead multiple investment and trading-focused projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring progress is monitored and goals are met.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and front-office stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate them into project plans.
• Drive the execution of project deliverables by coordinating cross-functional teams and aligning resources.
• Understand and manage the trade lifecycle and investment management processes, ensuring smooth project operations.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, influence decision-makers, and provide updates to senior leadership as needed.
• Regularly collaborate with the PMO/Transformation Office to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and transformation goals.
• Contribute to the development and sharing of best practices within the project management team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of project management experience, with a strong background in the asset management industry.
• Proven experience managing projects in a front-office environment, including portfolio management and trading.
• In-depth knowledge of the trade lifecycle, investment processes, and exposure to ETFs is a strong plus.
• Prior experience working within a PMO or Transformation Office is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and balance competing priorities.
• Proficiency in traditional project management methodologies, including milestone tracking and resource management.
Salary - $120,000 - $155,000
