OBJECTIVES
- Fit and repair various household appliances
- Cut, weld, and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings and fixtures
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on Plumbing systems, including inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality and code compliance to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on Plumbing equipment to identify potential issues, leaks, or malfunctions, and provide timely recommendations for repairs or replacements.
- Communicate with customers to explain system issues, proposed solutions, and associated costs, ensuring transparency and addressing any concerns.
- Create sales opportunities for senior level technicians or sales team members and promote the company's Plumbing products and services to customers.
- Provide accurate and detailed estimates and quotes for repair or replacement services, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.
- Follow up with customers to answer questions, address concerns, and aid with scheduling necessary repairs or installations.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's products, services, and pricing to effectively educate customers and promote value-added solutions.
- Keep detailed records of service calls, customer interactions, and sales opportunities using appropriate software or CRM systems.
COMPETENCIES
- Good understanding of Plumbing systems, components, controls, and their interdependencies.
- Strong technical skills in performing maintenance tasks and inspections on Plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for Plumbing preventative maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and address their concerns.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Active Texas Plumbing License required
- 4,000- 8,000 hours under a RMP
- OSHA certified and Tankless Water Heater certified
- Active driver's license and clean background record
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing, bending, climbing, sitting, small crawl spaces and heights
- Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
- Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing
- Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting
- Requires the ability to raise, manipulate and maneuver tools, components and materials and handle a variety of items, equipment, control knobs, switches, etc.
- Work in high or elevated places and/or in tight spaces
- Ability to withstand hot and cold indoor and outdoor temperatures

SCHEDULE
- Normal hours Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
- On Call Rotation: This position runs after hours service calls.
