Job Title: Plumbing Service Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Service Technician to join our team and provide exceptional plumbing services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality service. As a Plumbing Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing plumbing issues, performing repairs and installations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose plumbing problems and identify appropriate solutions.
2. Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, faucets, and water heaters.
3. Install new plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances according to specifications.
4. Conduct inspections and assessments of plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
5. Provide estimates for plumbing services and communicate pricing to customers.
6. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on jobs.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
8. Communicate effectively with customers to address concerns and answer questions.
9. Keep abreast of industry developments and new plumbing technologies.
10. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of jobs.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience as a Plumbing Service Technician or similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
4. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Good communication and customer service skills.
7. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and work in various environments.
8. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience.
2. Valid plumbing license or certification 
3. Additional certifications or training in specialized areas of plumbing.
4. Experience using plumbing software for scheduling and invoicing.
5. Familiarity with building codes and regulations.

Working Conditions:

• Work hours may vary based on customer demand, typical work week mon-fri 9-6 or 8-5 
• Work environments may include residential homes, commercial buildings, and outdoor locations.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces
