We are currently seeking a Plumbing Project Sales Representative who loves to engage with people and build customer relationships. We are not back-filling an existing position. This is a newly developed position that focuses on our world-class plumbing services. This position is created to support our business growth and add a sales representative with specific knowledge and passion for plumbing. Our successful candidate will support existing sales and accounts, as well as grow our customer base. Intial focus will be on Memphis and the surrounding areas in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
In this position, you meet with property management teams, business owners, and decision-makers. Respectfully, navigating gatekeepers, your plumbing expertise, and the demonstration of win-win negotiations combined with the reputation of our world-class service plumbers earn your audience with decision-makers. A SLOW SALES CYCLE requires exceptional relationship-building skills. Our passion for developing talent is well known in the industry; however, this newly developed role likely requires an experienced Plumbing Project Sales Representative. Primary Job Function: Present Mechanical Systems Company to potential commercial customers, qualify opportunities, and win Plumbing Project Sales that are a good fit for our valued customers. Accountable for all sales activities and customer relationships between MSC and commercial/industrial clients. The primary requirements for this position are being able to build trusted relationships and solve technical problems with the clients. This position conducts cold calls to generate new business and works with our existing clients throughout the Mid-South.
Work Hours: 40+ hours per week
Pay Scale: Base plus commission and car allowance. Estimated 1st-year earnings $60,000 - $100,000+

Required Qualifications:
- Prior sales experience, preferably B2B
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Must pass drug and background screens
- Knowledge of the plumbing industry is preferred
- Basic computer proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Time and activity management skills
- Knowledge and experience in making cost estimates for commercial construction projects is a huge plus
