Estimator (Plumbing)

Corso Plumbing & Heating is looking for a part-time Project Estimator.

The Project Estimator has overall responsibility for potential client’s budgets and estimates. Our team is looking to add a knowledgeable estimator to prepare bid proposals for upcoming commercial and multi-residential plumbing projects throughout the planning, design, and construction phase. This position will be in office 3-5 days a week with the potential of becoming partially remote.

Duties:

• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for commercial and multi-residential plumbing projects

• Utilize plans, specifications, and other available project documents to calculate costs

-Attend site visits and pre-bid meeting as needed to assess scope of project

• Collaborate with project managers and vendors to ensure accurate estimates

• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop cost breakdowns

• Maintain detailed records of estimates with any documentation

-Investigate any requirements regarding design, code, and owner requirements to properly define scope of work

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry

• AutoCAD and Bluebeam experience preferred.

• Highly skilled in reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and bid documents

• Strong knowledge of plumbing methods, materials, and techniques

• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team environment
