This position is based out of our Rockledge location, with 50% travel to local branches in Orlando and Tampa.

What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll oversee the training and development of apprentices to ensure technical proficiency, customer service excellence, and field readiness. You will:
Academy Functions:
- Lead and operate the regional academy program, ensuring it produces field-ready technicians.
- Design, build, and maintain training labs and syllabi while keeping materials up-to-date.
- Provide in-person and virtual training sessions, combining technical knowledge with customer service training.
- Oversee apprenticeship programs, from recruiting to graduation, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Conduct ride-alongs, hands-on training, and 1:1 coaching sessions to support academy participants.
- Track and report academy performance metrics, making adjustments to improve outcomes.
Field & Branch Support:
- Monitor and evaluate technical work quality, providing feedback to apprentices and technicians.
- Schedule vendor, technical, and service system training sessions as needed.
- Collaborate with Service Managers to optimize technician deployment and mentorship assignments.
- Conduct field visits to neighboring branches, providing on-site support and training.
- Facilitate monthly reviews of academy materials, ensuring tools and resources remain effective and relevant.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coach a technical workforce.
- High-level technical knowledge in plumbing.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to train others to excel in customer interactions.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills:
- Master’s license in plumbing.
- Experience with Service Titan software and data analysis/reporting.
- Experience with NexStar
- Background in the trades: HVAC, plumbing, or electrical.
