Plumbing Estimator - Brightpath Associates LLC

Job Description-

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed plumbing and hydronic system take-offs based on project plans and specifications, using estimating software.
• Leverage industry knowledge to create design-build estimates from initial layouts, conceptual designs, and Basis of Design documents for various markets and system types.
• Obtain pricing quotes for materials not included in the estimating software.
• Review project specifications and drawings to ensure estimating accuracy.
• Develop or suggest pre-bid Requests for Information for assigned projects.
• Identify and qualify vendors for equipment and subcontracting needs on assigned projects.
• Contribute to written proposals, technical documents, and presentations to support Project Executives.
• Provide cost estimates for change orders to Project Managers when detailed material take-offs are needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Actively prepare for and participate in weekly sales and estimating update meetings.
• Take advantage of training opportunities to improve skills.
• Contribute to the Company’s goal of continuous improvement.
