As they continue to grow, they are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Plumbing Estimator to join their team.
They are seeking a skilled Plumbing Estimator to manage and prepare estimates for commercial and residential plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of plumbing systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive plumbing estimates for commercial and residential projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals and budget.
- Conduct take-offs, quantity surveys, and material cost analysis.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for potential projects.
- Provide ongoing support to the project team during the project execution phase.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in plumbing estimation, preferably within the mechanical contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree or certification in construction management or a related field is a plus.
