Plumber - Golden Rain Foundation

**Position Summary:**
The Plumber is responsible for performing skilled plumbing work to maintain, repair, and improve the water, gas, and sewage systems at Leisure World Seal Beach, an active senior living community. Our Plumbers ensure that all plumbing systems function efficiently and safely, adhering to local codes and community standards. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service to senior residents and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical school in plumbing
• Valid plumbing license
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential buildings
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete projects
• Adhere to safety standards and building codes
• Provide excellent customer service to senior residents at the community

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional plumber.
• Experience working in residential or senior living communities is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid plumbing license (as required by California law).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior residents.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
