PLS Manager - MRISpokane

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled PA/NJ PLS Surveyor with experience in heavy highway and commercial surveying. The ideal candidate will have a background in surveying for large-scale construction projects and will be responsible for ensuring that construction work complies with design drawings. 

Responsibilities:

• Establish control points
• Use all standard survey equipment efficiently
• Produce redline as-built drawings
• Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required
• Prepare required paperwork for surveying activities
• Maintain equipment assigned
• Supervise other surveyors on the team
• Coordinate surveying activities with project teams
• Use survey computer programs to aid in tasks (AutoCAD & Carlson)
• Manage other surveyors as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant construction field experience in surveying
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
• Comfortable working in various conditions and climates
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education required for NJ licensure
• Minimum of 5 years of technical engineering/surveying training
• Valid driver’s license
• PA and/or NJ LS required or in the process of obtaining licensure(s) within 1 year of employment
