Job Title: PLC SCADA DeveloperLocation: ​​Miamisburg​ , OHZip Code: 45342Start Date: ASAPJob Type: Contract to Hire Pay Rate: $38.46 - $45.00/hr DoESchedule: M-Th: 8am - 5:30pm Fri: 8am-12pm Keywords: #ProgrammingEngineeringJobs #Developer ##PLCJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:* Responsible for how the system operates. * Write an ICD, communication directory for the PLC to customer in addition to the I/O Input, Output, VFD, etc. * Work with the design engineer to write the SOP/ICD. * Work with the Engineering Design team to create a Sequence of Operation on the current project program. * Work with Project Manager to provide customer with HMI or SCADA design outline and flow chart. * Work with Tech Writing and Training Team to create a manual. * Provide screen shots of HMI screens, etc. * System monitoring, debugging and troubleshooting operational problems. * Configure other automation devices, such as VFDs for automation/control. * Set up VPN Tunnels and port-forwarding rules in managed switches/routers. * Provide remote support to ASC field service team to troubleshoot issues. * Originate, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs using ladder logic, function block diagrams, or structured text to control various industrial processes and equipment. * Originate and modify HMI programs to customer specifications. * Design and develop SCADA applications to provide real-time monitoring, data visualization, and control functionalities for industrial processes, utilizing platforms such as Wonderware, Ignition, or FactoryTalk View. * Diagnose and resolve issues related to industrial networks, including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus, ensuring reliable communication between PLCs, SCADA systems, and other automation devices. * Conduct thorough testing of PLC programs and SCADA applications to ensure proper functionality, adherence to specifications, and compatibility with existing systems, utilizing appropriate hardware and software tools.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* 4+ years of applicable programming experience. * Programming from scratch (Allen Bradley PLC, HMI & SCADA )* Experience working with fan systems, motor distribution and the ability to read P&ID Diagrams * Experience and the ability to write a sequence of operations (SOP). * Experience programming Studio 5000 + one other major PLC platform (Siemens would be a PLUS) * Experience programming Ignition + one other major SCADA platform. Ex: Wonderware, Aveva, Ignition, Optix * Experience in programming Water/Wastewater controls. * Process support systems such as Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment experience (PLUS). * Experience in troubleshooting PLC systems and instrumentation. Example- using a Loop Calibrator and Multimeter. (PLUS) * SCADA on cloud server experience (PLUS) Ex: AWS * Excellent written and verbal skills required. * Highly organizational skills. * Knowledge of industrial networking and cyber security (PLUS) * Develop Customer graphics for SCADA and HMI (PLUS)If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
