PLC Programmer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek has an immediate need for a PLC Programmer in the Santa Clara, CA area. Our client primarily supports the semiconductor and biotech industry in the Silicon Valley area, doing design, install, test, programming, related to maintaining toxic gas detection systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configuration and integration of gas detection and chemical dispense control systems.
• Provide setup and startup of hardware and software for the PLC, variable frequency drives, control and communications networks and other electrical hardware and software.

Requirements:

• 5 + years’ experience    in    PLC  programming  
• Proficiency    with    multiple    manufacturers    automation    hardware    and    software    including,  but    not    limited    to,   Allen    Bradley,    Automation    Direct,    G.E.,    Modicon,    WonderWare
  Indusoft,    Ignition    &    SCADA    development
• Experience    reading    and    modifying    electrical    control    schematics
• Create    and    read    logic    and    flow    diagrams    for    program    design,  programming,    simulation,   
  testing    and    start-up
• Capable    of    system    monitoring, debugging    and    troubleshooting    operational    problems   
• Specify, design    and    build    programs    to    be    installed    on    the    equipment   
• Select    and    configure    other    automation    devices, such    as    VFDs    for    automation/control
• Modify existing    programs    for    specific    customer    requirements   
• Provide    guidance    to    Field    Service    Engineers    in    programming,   repair,    installation    and   
  maintenance    of    PLC    systems

Pay Rate: $95,000-$110,000 annually
