PLC Programmer - Dura Automotive Systems LLC

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing automation projects to improve productivity, quality and consistency.
• Assist with design, planning and execution of automation / robotics in the plant.
• Consistent improvements on assembly equipment by making programming changes in the PLC or other systems to reduce cycle time and increase reliability
• Work with schematics and diagrams for electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
• Developing and changing of automation processes through programming the PLC
• Implementing additional vision systems and scanners, setting up communication to the main PLC and integrating it into the code
• Provide higher level of support for maintenance technicians during break down situations through troubleshooting methods
• Developing and executing training for development of other team members
