Our well-established finance company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent PLC Programmer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs to meet our evolving needs. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated systems, playing a key role in our commitment to efficiency and innovation.
Responsibilities:
1. Designing and developing PLC programs to control and monitor systems and machinery.
2. Testing and debugging PLC programs to ensure they function as expected.
3. Collaborating with other team members to design and implement system solutions.
4. Maintaining documentation of PLC program development, changes, and updates.
5. Providing technical support and troubleshooting for PLC systems.
6. Participating in project planning and providing updates on project status.
7. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
8. Regularly reviewing and updating PLC programs to improve efficiency and functionality.
9. Training personnel to use and understand PLC systems effectively.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a PLC Programmer.
3. Profound knowledge of PLC programming languages like Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, or Structured Text.
4. Experience in the finance industry is preferred.
5. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Proficient in using PLC programming software and tools.
11. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
12. Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
