Expected hours: 40 per week
Our medical practice is seeking an outstanding individual to provide concierge level service for our patients. This is a full-time medical office position for a front desk coordinator.
The front desk coordinator should have excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information.
This position requires a dynamic individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to follow through with appointed tasks and a passion for patient care, all within a fast-paced environment.
The Front Desk Coordinator should also be able to work independently, multi-task and switch priorities based on patients’ needs throughout the workday.

Job description:/Responsibilities:
The front desk coordinator manages the front desk of an office, including the reception area and meeting rooms, and is responsible for a variety of tasks:
- Provide exceptional customer service consistently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and addressing inquiries. Answer phones and handle calls accordingly. Call, text and email patients as needed.
- Work directly with the Patient Coordinator/Office Manager and Physician as well as other staff to handle patients' needs.
- Consistently systematize and improve processes of lead management and patient experience. Process new patient leads. Assist with scheduling office appointments as requested by patients.
- Check patients in and out of the office. Collect payments. Check voicemails throughout the day and return calls as necessary.
- Perform administrative functions such as data entry, filing paperwork, and processing bills. Manage patient documentation and medical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate patient appointments, surgeries, and follow-up care. Provide support throughout the scheduling and treatment process. Facilitate communication between patients and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the surgical team, including surgeons, nurses, and medical assistants, to ensure seamless patient care. Assist with preparing surgery scheduling sheets.
- Assist with insurance verification, prior authorizations and reimbursement claims.
- Handle all assigned tasks/ad hoc projects as assigned.
Experience:
- Medical office experience (preferably Plastic/Cosmetic Surgery).
- Experience with EMR.
- Experience working with insurance companies.
- Patient service: 1 year (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred).
Working conditions:
- Employee is expected to work 8:30am - 5pm. Monday-Friday. Usual 40-hour week.
- Employee must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Office attire is scrubs or business casual.
