About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Designing and deploying network solutions for manufacturing needs.
Managing network infrastructure like switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points. - Monitoring network performance and security, resolving issues proactively.
- Integrating and supporting various plant systems and devices with IT and OT teams.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Developing and maintaining network documentation.
- Implementing network upgrades and expansions.
- Bachelors degree in related field and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), CompTIA Network, Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP), VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in network engineering, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security practices, and hardware components.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as Cisco, Juniper, or similar.
- Experience with industrial control systems (ICS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems is required.
- Excellent customer service and communications skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to deal with conflicts and stressful situations.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow multiple projects and tasks to completion.
- Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint.
