My team and I are working with a growing family-owned food manufacturer in Minnesota who is searching for a Plant Manager to oversee the their state of the art facility. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a critical role that emphasizes both operational excellence and team development.
As the Plant Manager, you will be the driving force behind day-to-day operations, ensuring not only efficiency and productivity but also the highest standards of quality and compliance in our processing practices.

- Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily production activities to meet efficiency and quality targets.
- Create and optimize production schedules to ensure timely supply.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture and align the team's objectives with company goals.
- Ensure adherence to USDA, HACCP, OSHA, and other food safety regulations.
- Safety and Environmental Standards
- Financial Management
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor performance metrics for driving efficiencies.
- Strategic Planning and Communication
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Food Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in food processing, with at least 5 years in management within the pork or meat processing industry.
- Knowledge of USDA, HACCP, and OSHA standards.
- Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
- Advanced degree in Operations Management or Food Science.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
