Plant Manager - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 170k/year - Chicago, IL

• Our client is an industry-leading plastics manufacturing company. They are seeking a Plant Manager to represent their company. This is a great work environment, and the plant is in excellent shape.

Responsibilities:

• Creates a culture that promotes safety as a top priority.
• Monitor KPI’s to track performance and identify areas of improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement, and constantly evaluate productivity.
• The plant Manager is responsible for development, training and coaching of staff.
• individual and team goals for staff and provides continuous feedback.
• Responsible for all operations in the plant on all shifts.
• Conduct timely annual reviews and evaluations of staff.
• Manager budgetary responsibilities, including cost control, inventory, supply chain, and forecasting.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements, implementing best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (plastics preferred but not mandatory).
• MUST be fluent in Spanish.
• Experience in utilizing Lean and Kaizen initiatives to improve plant efficiency.

Compensation:

• Base salary to 170k/year, plus up to 20% target bonus
