We are excited to announce an amazing opportunity for a Plant Manager to join our client's team at a well-established miscellaneous steel fabrication facility in partnership with gpac, a 30+ years recruitment company. As the Plant Manager, you will oversee all aspects of plant operations, managing teams, and ensuring the highest level of production efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for growth seeking candidates who are looking to take the next step in the industrial manufacturing industry.
Plant Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee all production, maintenance, and quality assurance of the plant, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
- Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity
- Coordinate the plant’s manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with company objectives, quality systems, and customer expectations.
Plant Manager Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
- Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintain current quality standards
Plant Manager Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Plant Manager
- Proven managerial experience
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budget, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources
- Familiarity with industry standards and technical expertise
- Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship process
