Plant Manager - Gpac

My team and I are working with a growing family-owned food manufacturer in Minnesota who is searching for a Plant Manager to oversee the their state of the art facility.  This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a critical role that emphasizes both operational excellence and team development.

As the Plant Manager, you will be the driving force behind day-to-day operations, ensuring not only efficiency and productivity but also the highest standards of quality and compliance in our processing practices.

• Operational Leadership
• Oversee daily production activities to meet efficiency and quality targets.
• Create and optimize production schedules to ensure timely supply.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture and align the team's objectives with company goals.
• Ensure adherence to USDA, HACCP, OSHA, and other food safety regulations.
• Safety and Environmental Standards
• Financial Management
• Develop and manage budgets, monitor performance metrics for driving efficiencies.
• Strategic Planning and Communication

 Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Food Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in food processing, with at least 5 years in management within the pork or meat processing industry.
• Knowledge of USDA, HACCP, and OSHA standards.
• Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Advanced degree in Operations Management or Food Science.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

 Compensation and Benefits:
