Join our dynamic team in Lithonia, GA, as we seek an experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in the automotive industry. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage plant operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in a Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing environment.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of salaried and hourly employees, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies, focusing on cost reductions and process improvements.
• Utilize best practices such as VIEW, VAVE, Total Quality Management (TQM), and other methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with financial teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and participate in quality audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Eight to ten years of senior management experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on Tier 1 seating or interior parts assembly.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in unionized environments preferred.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and related methodologies such as 5S and Kaizen.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation including health and safety, industrial relations, and supply contract administration.
