We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, highly disciplined, and high-energy individual to lead the team as the Plant Manager. A professional with extensive knowledge to oversee all plant operations and make crucial decisions for the company. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the responsibility for all financial aspects of plant operations and have a familiarity with the third-party logistics and/or the automotive industry.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Reports directly to the Director of Operations
- Strong Project Management Experience is Required
- Strong leadership skills managing salaried and hourly employees
- Leads Direction among functional Departments (Manufacturing/Operations, Engineering, Safety, Quality), conducting daily and weekly meetings with direct reports
- Maintains and improves employee morale by facilitating team building and communication within the department
- Communicates with Corporate Resources
- Directs, coordinates, and assigns work activities to all employees under Supervision in facility; Monitors, reviews and evaluates work product, methods, and procedures o
- Strong understanding of Lean Principles and driving Continuous Improvement
- Establishes and maintains effective KPI's, monitors performance and initiates improvement opportunities
- Produces productivity reports and turns data into business cases to make fact-based decisions
- Develops and Manages Operations budgets to ensure compliance with the Company and the Customer
- Communicates with Customers to handle any escalated partner service issues or complaints
- Exceeds Client-Customer expectations
- Promotes and maintains a safe working environment
- Enforces company policies/procedures and corresponding work instructions
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management and/or Engineering is Required
- 10+ Years' Automotive, Third-Party Logistics, or Heavy Industrial/Manufacturing experience is Required
- 7+ Years' Operations/Leadership Management experience within Automotive, Third-Party Logistics, or Heavy Industrial/Manufacturing experience is Required
- Strong Customer Interfacing Skills
- ERP/WMS proficiency - SAP Required
- Safety, Labor Relations, and Worker's Compensation
- Strong Experience within Continuous Improvement and Lean Principles:
- Problem-solving using Root Cause Analysis
- Time Studies and Value Stream Mapping
- Demonstrated experience performing Layered Audits
- Strong Logistics/Supply Chain background to include proficiency in Third Party VAA Services including Part Sequencing, JIT, Value-Added, Sub-Assembly, Kitting, Repack, Deconsolidation, and Bulk and Small Lot Metering
