Gpac has an incredible opportunity for a Plant Manager position in KY. The company produces sliced meat for one of the largest big-box stores in America. This plant operates 24/7 across three shifts and employs about 500 people. They are recession-proof and emerged stronger from the COVID-19 pandemic, with two facilities already running 24/7 and a third on the way.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university
- Five-plus years of quality control experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Must have meat manufacturing experience
- HACCP Certified (preferred)
- SQF Certified (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in computer skills, analytics, equipment, and food-processing equipment
- Knowledge of quality processes related to the food-processing industry
- Familiarity with HACCP, SSOP, and SOP
- Understanding of USDA and FDA standards
- Bilingual is a plus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- All aspects of plant management to assure cost effective, timely and efficient production and coordinate distribution of consistently high-quality products.
- Manages plant costs regarding facilities and employees with headquarter office.
- Work with a full operation management structure including maintenance, quality assurance, warehouse, sanitation, finance, and human resources.
- Leads staffing by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains workflow by monitoring and developing steps of the process by setting processing instructions, observing control points and equipment, monitoring staff.
- Setting productions shifts accomplishing product manufacturing goals by establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Compiles and analyzes production performance records and data, answering questions and responding to requests.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
Pay Range: $170k to $180k
