About the Job
A leading manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced PlantEngineering Leader to provide professional engineering and strategic technical leadership. This role ensures safety, quality, compliance, and sustainability standards are met while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
Sets the technical strategic vision for the factory, aligning engineering objectives with overall business goals.
Leads and develops the engineering team, fostering technical competency and career growth through action plans and talent reviews.
Collaborates with cross-functional leaders to drive long-term success and cost-effective operations.
Maintenance & Reliability:
Implements Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) foundations to enhance equipment reliability.
Builds cooperation between production and other departments to achieve a world-class operation.
Optimizes maintenance costs by improving internal technical skills and managing third-party resources effectively.
Project Management:
Oversees capital projects, ensuring excellence in execution.
Develops and implements long-term strategies for factory safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Leads factory master planning to support growth and align with future business needs.
Sustainability & Utilities:
Ensures full compliance with all regulatory requirements for utility systems.
Drives plant sustainability initiatives, including water management, in alignment with market targets.
Maintains reliability and optimizes utility system management through internal technical expertise.
Electrical & Automation:
Ensures electrical system reliability and compliance with standards.
Develops and implements a comprehensive automation plan to optimize factory performance.
Enhances technical skillsets to support electrical reliability and calibration requirements.
Process & Packaging Optimization:
Leads innovation and technology implementation to enhance processes and packaging.
Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to execute strategic goals efficiently.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or related fields preferred).
5–7 years of technical experience, ideally in food or canning manufacturing, with a focus on maintenance leadership.
3–5 years of leadership or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements, and hygienic engineering is highly preferred.
This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven engineering professional with a proven ability to lead teams, drive innovation, and maintain the highest safety and quality standards. Approximate pay range is $150K to $175K.
