We are expanding our Maintenance team and are looking for an experienced Industrial Plant Electrical Journeyman at the Intel Ronler Acres facility in Hillsboro, OR! We are seeking team players, who are willing and able to work overtime if needed.
We are currently seeking Oregon Electrical Journeymen for the following shifts:
- $60 per hour / $3.00 per hour shift premium for the night shift opening.
- Days: Sunday to Tuesday, alternating Wednesday
- Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Night shift offers a $2500 sign on bonus
- Night Shift: Sunday to Tuesday, every other Saturday
- Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description: We are looking for Electrical Plant Journeymen with experience in commissioning new systems and large industrial power distribution. Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation equipment and software.
As a Facilities Electrical Technician, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Responsible for preventive and predictive maintenance of all the electrical distribution systems and will require working on other disciplines. Work from drawings, schematics, and other documentation. Conduct daily rounds and readings. Working closely with Engineering to establish total predictive maintenance procedures and cost models.
The successful candidate will be required to work a compressed workweek schedule. The ideal candidate will exhibit the following traits: Capable and willing to pass CPR/AED training. Ability to work in heavy personal protective equipment including Level 4 arc flash protection suit outside with high temperature and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and pull 250 lbs. Prolonged periods of walking and standing are also requirements for this role.
Required Qualification: Oregon Journeyman/Plant Journeyman Electrician License - EE-98J.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in all aspects of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of facilities equipment and systems.
- 8+ years of experience with maintenance requirements of electrical facility systems, such as electrical distribution (up to 15kv), HVAC equipment, and facility piping systems associated controls and instrumentation for basic facility equipment/systems
- 8+ years of experience with metering and testing equipment including multi-meter, Megger, High-Pot, ground fault detector, VLF, and IR camera.
- Experience reading one-line electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints Preferred Qualifications: Work knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC70), Recommended Practice for Electrical Equipment Maintenance (NFPA 70B), and Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace (NFPA 70E).
- Strong Mathematical skills, ability to read single-line diagrams, schematics and blueprints
- Ability to recognize system and equipment deficiencies and take corrective action Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry-relevant job experience, internship experiences, and or schoolwork/classes/research

- Must be able to visually inspect machines.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of the job site in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
- Must be able to traverse wet, slippery, unsteady, irregular, narrow, vibrating, or moving surfaces.
