We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Permanent Plant Controller to join our team in the automotive manufacturing industry. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, rapidly growing technology firm. The Plant Controller will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations. This role will include responsibilities in manufacturing accounting, monthly reporting, ERP implementation, annual budgeting, cost reduction, multi-plant coordination, internal control, budgeting, forecasting, annual physical inventory management, and QPI determination.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of manufacturing accounting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with all applicable regulations.
2. Implement and manage ERP systems to streamline and automate financial processes.
3. Prepare and manage the annual budget, providing detailed analysis and recommendations to senior management.
4. Identify and implement cost reduction strategies to maximize profitability without compromising product quality or customer satisfaction.
5. Coordinate financial operations across multiple plants, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
6. Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
7. Prepare detailed budget and forecast reports, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
8. Manage the annual physical inventory process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
9. Determine QPIs (Quality Performance Indicators) to measure and improve financial performance.
10. Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial processes and support company-wide strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. An MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in manufacturing accounting, monthly reporting, ERP implementation, annual budgeting, cost reduction, multi-plant coordination, internal control, budgeting, forecasting, annual physical inventory management, and QPI determination.
4. Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
5. Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the company's values and ethical standards.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
