We are currently seeking an onsite Controller with the below qualifications:
The Controller will lead all accounting and reporting-related functions with a focus on team leadership and development, quality, timeliness, and process improvement. Ensure timely monthly closes of the general ledger and be responsible for all financial reporting including monthly/quarterly financial statements and other related internal reports as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist site managers in developing financial tools of the site.
• Manage all general accounting functions which include performing month-end close process, preparing and booking journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Work with the team to ensure timely and accurate monthly closes.
• Prepare Consolidated Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash Flow.
• Oversee tax related matters, as assigned by the Corporate Controller, to ensure they are met in a timely manner.
• Cost accounting at sites.
• Variance reporting to budgets and standards.
• Oversee activities related to payables and receivables.
• Oversee cash management and forecasting.
• Work with site leadership in the creation of the annual budget.
• Monitor month-end and year-end close process.
• Implement and maintain internal controls.
• Ensure no adjustments of financial audits.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 8+ years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Prior experience in manufacturing preferred. Knowledge of plastic tooling and molding is desired.
• Strong knowledge of large accounting systems.
• CPA or CMA certification, active or inactive would be desired.
• Experience with external auditors.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain, encourage and participate in a highly collaborative team environment with clients and staff.
• Exceptional customer service skills, internal and external.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Self-starter - able to prioritize and multi-task without daily direct supervision.
• Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel/PAT.
• Knowledge of various accounting systems including IQMS.
• Highest level of integrity and good judgment.
• Comfortable working under pressure with a service-oriented, positive attitude.
