Are you ready to take the wheel of financial operations at a cutting-edge production facility? We're looking for a dynamic, driven Financial Controller to join our team and lead the financial functions at our manufacturing plant. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact, guide financial strategy, and drive success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do:
- Take charge of all financial functions for the production plant, from day-to-day reporting to long-term strategy
- Lead and mentor the Senior Plant Accountant and Senior Account Clerk, guiding a talented team to success
- Oversee financial reporting to corporate, as well as budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Drive cost accounting activities, product costing, capacity planning, and time studies to ensure operational efficiency
- Analyze operational costs and variances to identify opportunities for improvement
- Implement and maintain improvements to our financial systems, ensuring they remain cutting-edge and efficient
- Prepare special studies and projects with precision, meeting deadlines while providing valuable insights to management
- Act as a key member of the Management Team, contributing to strategic planning and budgeting
