Atrium Staffing is partnering with a large construction and manufacturing company with over 40 years of experience in the industry. They are Florida-based and over completed over 10,000 projects in the state. They provide design, manufacturing, and installation services. Currently, they are looking to add a Plant Controller to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$100k – $125k
Position Overview:
The Plant Controller will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the plant. The ideal candidate for the Plant Controller role will have a strong background in financial management within a manufacturing environment and possess excellent analytical and leadership skills.
Responsibilities of the Plant Controller:
- Oversee all financial operations of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Implement and monitor cost control measures to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
- Conduct variance analysis on financial performance, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory accounting.
- Oversee capital expenditure projects, including financial justification, tracking, and reporting.
- Lead and develop the plant finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business growth.
Qualifications for the Plant Controller:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
