We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Controller to join our team. This is a permanent position in our Engineering division. The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and playing a critical role in our strategic decision-making process. This position requires a high level of financial expertise, superb analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all financial operations of the plant, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
2. Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis.
4. Review and analyze monthly financial results and provide recommendations to management.
5. Develop and implement cost standards for materials and labor.
6. Monitor and analyze inventory and direct labor cost.
7. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
8. Develop and monitor performance metrics that support the company's strategic direction.
9. Work closely with plant management and corporate finance team to develop and execute strategic plans.
10. Participate in the development of the plant's long-term strategy and business plan.
11. Drive continuous improvement in the plant's manufacturing processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA, CMA, or MBA is highly desirable.
2. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
3. Proven experience in financial forecasting, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
5. Excellent analytical skills and experience creating and managing budgets.
6. Proficient in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.
10. Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work product.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
