About the Job
The Plant Controller at our Carlisle, PA facility will be primarily responsible for leading day-to-day accounting operations. This role will report up through the Corporate FP&A Function and provide oversight of the plant's financial performance. The Controller will provide variance analysis against budget and forecast along with other key performance metrics.
Primarily Responsible For:
- Providing analysis of key plant performance metrics, sharing insights with plant operations leadership of performance trends.
- Ensuring policy compliance with monthly tracking and analysis of raw material and finished good shrink to provide leadership insights.
- Prepare the annual business plan and forecasts for the plant operating departments.
- Review and present financial and operating metrics to the plant leadership team to drive continuous improvement in plant costs and other duties as necessary.
- Value added member tothe plant leadership team.
- Assist Corporate Supply Chain FP&A with analysis and key drivers of variances and trends.
- Effective coach, mentor and leader for Carlisle FP&A team.
Required Experience & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 6 years' in Manufacturing/Production Accounting and leadership experience preferably in Food, Dairy or related industries.
- MBA, Masters, CMA certification desired.
- Proficient computer skills in MS Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI and ERP Systems.
- Proven experience must include analyzing data and using to drive business decisions/results.
- Solid understanding of GAAP.
- Fortune 500 experience preferred.

Hours: This role may require off shift hours as needed.
