Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Plant Clerk to join their Production Control Team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with daily production data collection, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that materials and labor match production reports. You will work closely with supervisors to address discrepancies and maintain production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and post daily production reports to ensure accurate data entry.
- Maintain accurate production records and assist with discrepancies in reporting.
- Verify material usage and ensure alignment with the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Monitor and report on work in progress (WIP) from ERP systems.
- Calculate daily, weekly, and monthly employee and departmental efficiencies.
- Ensure project shop orders are current and revisions are properly distributed.
- Assist with the documentation of safety-related incidents, such as near misses or first-aid reports.
- Perform additional duties as required by the production control department.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in an inventory, manufacturing, or assembly environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., IFS) is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and Bills of Material (BOM).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Dependable and punctual with the ability to work effectively within a team.
