ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: Perform accurately and timely
Financial Analysis on Operating Results and Plant Profitability opportunities
while being active within the Manufacturing Facility to become an effective
Business Partner with the Plant Management team and to understand its operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Proficient knowledge of manufacturing standard costing systems. Participates in the process for newly created part numbers working closely with purchasing, operations and engineering. Identify problems with existing controls and work with other departments to find resolution *Lead month-end closing process. Perform variance analysis on monthly, quarterly and year end financials. Ensure that all tasks are completed on a timely basis in accordance with all published deadlines. *Manage annual Budget and monthly forecasting processes *Prepare and present reports and analysis to plant personnel as part of daily, weekly, monthly management reporting, *Work with key plant personnel to prepare financial justification for projects and tracking progress and savings thereof. *Assist Plant Manager with profitability reviews for items, product families, and customers. *Lead the taking, recording, and analysis of the quarterly and annual physical inventories. Monitors in inventory valuation to ensure costing transactions are operating correctly. *Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: *Excellent analytical, planning, organizational and solutions-oriented skills. *Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to convey financial information to non-financial audiences. *Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in high-pressure situations *Ability to work efficiently, independently, and cross-functionally *Knowledge of US GAAP and other accounting/finance concepts.
COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS: High level of proficiency in MS Excel required. Prior experience with QAD or other General Ledger software. Oracle (Hyperion) Essbase experience helpful. SCOPE OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing.
