Plant Accountant

 

Seeking a temporary Plant Accountant who will assist the Plant Controller with all aspects of financial management and analysis including but not limited to research and evaluation, policy and procedure, auditing, planning, cost control, contract administration, budget, regulatory filings, physical inventory, and financial reporting.
 

As the Plant Accountant, you will:

• Supporting the Conroe plant with Product costing, Production variance analysis, Purchase Price variance analysis, BOM analysis and monthly plant reporting.
• Support in the Month end close process, expense cost review, submitting expense JE and Accruals.
• Support divisional requirements with budgets and forecast
• Ensure internal controls and SOX compliance are met.
• Support with Physical and Fixed Asset inventory
• Support Conroe plant management staff as required
• Backup Conroe plant controller as required 

Skills and experiences required:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 3 + years of experience
• Must have a level of proficiency Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.
• SAP, ERP, ECC experience.
• Must be detailed oriented with the ability to perform work with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience with SAP, PAW a plus.
• Experience with reporting tools a plus.
• Strong organizational and motivational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time and resources.
• Ability to develop partnerships within and outside process area.
• Ability to interpret and apply corporate policies and procedures.
