Plant Accountant Assistant - Inceed

Compensation: $25-$35/hr depending on experience
ONSITE in Katy, TX OR Berkley Springs, WV Area
Position: Plant Accounting Assistant

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Plant Accounting Assistant to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with an accounting degree, eager to begin their career in the field. The selected candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience working directly with Staff Accountants across multiple plant locations. This role will involve assisting with basic accounting tasks, creating spreadsheets, and helping with commission vouchers. The team offers multiple mentorship opportunities, providing a great environment to learn and grow professionally.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with basic accounting tasks and financial reporting
• Create and maintain spreadsheets in Excel for various accounting functions
• Help process commission vouchers for different plant locations
• Collaborate with Staff Accountants to support their daily needs
• Learn about the inner workings of accounting processes and procedures

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• A degree in Accounting or a related field
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
• Internship or prior job experience in accounting
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
