Planning Administrative Associate/Procurement Assistant from Innova Solutions

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Procurement Associate.

Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 7 months
Location: Mobile Mill, AL

As a Procurement Associate, you will be:

• Entering requisitions on behalf of support team for MRO, services, capital equipment and operating supplies.

• Securing parts staging areas in the mill and stage parts for capital projects.
• Reconciling bill of materials (BOMs) to part received prior to installation to ensure all parts received.
• Working with appropriate procurement personnel to help expedite parts, find alternate parts, submit invoices, and address any service issues.
• Ensuring contractors scheduled to come on site are approved in the ISN system and work with them to address any issues prior to arrival date.
• Completing contractor safety orientation with contractors prior to starting a new job.
• Pulling daily report of parts pulled from Stores to ensure warranties are executed as available.
• Completing capital Report monthly to forecast spending and budget.
• Working with Mill Finance manager to forecast monthly expense spending.
• Implementing Mill cost controls to ensure cost center owners approve spend before requisitioning.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a Procurement/Purchasing role, preferably experience in a Mill location.
• Coupa systems experience is required, SAP systems experience is highly.
• Experienced in purchase orders/ writing SOWs/ managing vendors and parts/ contracts/ fixed bids/ accruals, etc.
• Experience working with contractor services (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, engineering).
• Experience writing scope of work (SOW).
• Knowledge of finance principles.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $26 - $31.50/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
