About the Job
The position will develop, maintain and improve planning systems and processes. The work involves software administration, troubleshooting, analysis, research, and reporting. In addition, the candidate will serve as the data warehouse (Business Objects) administrator. This strategic position works closely with all departments. This position reports to the Director of Enterprise Merchandise Systems and will play an integral role in Dollar Tree’s ability to plan high-quality, profitable assortment plans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as Business Administrator for Anaplan Assortment Planning (AP). This involves user support, managing user accounts, maintaining training materials, and working with the Anaplan Model Builder and IT to test and manage configuration changes
• Responsible for analysis and reporting related to Assortment Planning
• Provide backup support for RPAS as that system is retired over FY25
• Related projects as assigned
Knowledge and Skills
• Four-year college degree, preferably in Business or Information Technology
• Minimum of three years of experience, preferably in an analytical role with retail and/or analytics background preferred
• Level II Model Builder Certification preferred but not required.
• Software administration/Power User experience with MRP/ERP/AP/FP&A systems and forecasting systems
• Working knowledge of PowerBi, SQL and/or VBA/Python programs
• Prefer a detail oriented candidate with strong quantitative and analytical skills and ability to convert data into valuable information including an understanding of retail math
• Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities and tasks
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
