Plaintiff Paralegal - Gpac

Position Overview: The firm is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in personal injury litigation and a strong understanding of legal procedures, case management, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in all aspects of personal injury cases, from intake to resolution.
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support cases.
• Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers to obtain necessary information.
• Organize and maintain case files and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Prepare for hearings, depositions, and trials by assembling relevant materials.
• Provide exceptional client service and maintain a professional demeanor.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury law to include nursing home abuse & neglect and medical malpractice.
• Strong knowledge of Louisiana laws and legal procedures.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
