About the Job
Job Requirements:
· Must be able to handle workload for attorneys
· Must be able to manage attorney scheduling and calendars accurately and efficiently
· Must be able to prepare, format, & edit legal documents such as pleadings, discovery and correspondence
· Must have thorough knowledge of rules and procedures for service of documents and filings with Federal Courts and California Superior Courts (manual and electronic filing)
· Ability to multi-task and complete assignments quickly and accurately to meet demanding deadlines
· Manage documents in firm document management system
· Ability to take initiative, be resourceful and anticipate needs of attorneys
Qualifications:
· Minimum three years' current experience on a litigation desk
· Attention to detail is an absolute requirement
· Paralegal certificate is a plus
· Excellent written & oral communications skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Must be a team player and have the ability to work effectively and courteously with your co-workers, especially in times of stress
· Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products, including Word, Outlook and Adobe
· Experience with document management system preferred
